I’m James.

With over 15 years of experience in the building industry, I began my career in 2007 apprenticing in historic preservation and timber framing at the New Jersey Barn Company. I subsequently expanded my expertise into historic stone masonry, working with Steven Ferrari at Works in Stone. Following several years as an independent restoration carpenter, while engaged in a project at a Connecticut estate, I was selected to lead the historical restoration of a 17th-century sugar mill ruins in Nevis, West Indies—a comprehensive project spanning four years.

Upon returning to the United States, I pursued cabinet making under the mentorship of master craftsman, Allie Aronson, in Rosemont, New Jersey. This experience was followed by an opportunity to manage an extensive renovation of a historic stone farmhouse near Nashville, Tennessee, where I relocated with my wife, Taylor.

In 2020, we returned to New Jersey, where I established my current business, leveraging my diverse background in historical restoration, fine carpentry, and project management.
